|

Hello,
It takes approximately 5 minutes to retrieve three files with a total of about 50K in file size, since all of the negotation is going on. When will the FTP component be updated to either specify the transfer data type or detect it and adjust accordingly?
Thanks,
Mike |

This has been addressed and will be in the next update. An argument called "File type" has been added to the "Download file" of the FTP SCP component. This argument allows you to either select the default setting for the file mode transfer ("Auto Detect") or directly specify "Ascii" or "Binary" mode. The "Auto Detect" mode is as is currently in version 2.0.2 where the file mode is detected before full file transfer occurs. |

Hello,
I was wondering when the update will be released for the FTP component, as I have some software that is ready for use, but is not feasible with the long download times per file due to the number of files that are being downloaded in each session.
Thanks,

Hi Mike.
We are working to get the update out hopefully by early June.
This will contain the changes for the FTP component.
Thanks,
