Synopsis 2.0 runs on Microsoft Windows XP/2000/98.

Some of the new features in Synopsis 2.0 include:

• Full undo/redo of all operations.

• Create user SCP functionality: Synopsis program content can now be wrapped into a user-defined SCP that can be made available from the component tray and integrated into programs.

• Breakpoints: non-conditional and conditional breakpoints can be assigned to any process component to break program run.

• Windows Callback component: allows for invocation of logic in a special Windows event nesting component in response to specified Windows events.

• More program viewing/editing features.

• Event filters for UI components: events can now exclude/include subsets of defined UI components in Windows Forms.

• The ability to interface with existing non-Synopsis components, i.e you can connect to functions residing in DLLs that were written by any standard Windows program compiler. This enhances code reusability and integration.

• New components and SCPs: OLE database component, ODBC database component, Windows Clipboard component, FTP client component, socket (TCP/IP) component, Excel Interface component, Pop3/STMP email client.
